Dutch DJ Beauriche (or Boris Smit as he is known to his friends) has been making a huge impact on the world of house music for the past 12 months with epic releases like ‘Every Woman, 1986 (People Are Still Having Sex) and his remix of Fedde Le Grand’s “Back n’ Forth”. This has lead to house heavyweight Funkerman taking the 27 year old under his wings. Not only has he impressed Funkerman but also world number 1 DJ Hardwell, Dannic, Sander Kleinenberg, Round Table Knights, Masters at Work (Louie Vega and Kenny Dope), The Cube Guys, Chus Ceballos, Tiesto and Franky Rizardo, who are all playing his tracks during their performances and radio shows.
With early releases on Blackhole Recordings together with his partner in crime DJ Funkadelic (DJ Dannic) – the label renowned for giving DJs like Tiesto and Ferry Corsten their big breaks – it looks as though Beauriche will follow in their footsteps. His sensational remix of Fedde Le Grand’s ‘Back N’ Forth’ is still making an impact on the dance floor. With newer releases also creating a storm, including the critically acclaimed “Press Play Ep” and“1986” on Funkerman’s Can You Feel It Records, it was ‘Every Woman’, released on Nervous Records, that put Beauriche on the worldwide map. With an impressive support list and big radio and dj show airplays this is acclaimed to be Beauriche’s first “Hit”.
Due to the success that he has had with his original productions and banging remixes, Beauriche has played at many festivals this summer. He even broke his main stage virginity this year by playing at Summer Festival in Belgium but the biggest breakthrough this year was his residence at World #1 DJ Hardwell’s night at Ushuaia Ibiza for the summer of 2014.
2015 is set to be even bigger for this Dutch DJ, who is set to expand his already impressive discography with forthcoming releases on ‘Can You Feel It Records’ and collaborations with well-known artists, such as Sander Kleinenberg. Along with some exciting shows already set for next year, it is clear that his popularity and recognition will reach stratospheric heights.
